Results vary between individuals. We recommend allowing at least 6 months on our program and your prescribed regimen to see significant results.

Fasting and Testing

Why do I have to fast for a blood draw?

Fasting is important for accurate blood testing because it provides a consistent baseline measurement, not affected by recent food intake. This gives us the most reliable data to evaluate your health and make informed treatment decisions.

How long should I fast for my blood draw, and what if I don't fast properly?

We require fasting for 8-12 hours before your blood draw and no alcohol consumption the day before your appointment. This fasting period is crucial for accurate readings, as we base our treatment decisions on these results. In cases where you've been unable to fast properly, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure we get accurate results for your treatment plan.

Should I take my supplements and creams before my Fasting Blood Draw?

Apply creams such as Testosterone, Estradiol, and Progesterone at least 2 hours before your appointment. Most supplements can be skipped if they upset your stomach, but take DHEA and Pregnenolone at least 2 hours prior, or as instructed by your provider.

What if I forget to take my supplements or medications before a blood draw?

Inform the medical assistant about any missed supplements or medications. If you've missed one or two, we can usually proceed. If you've missed most of them, it's best to reschedule for accurate results.
